Maoists trying to kill TDP leader Motkupalli?
Reports that Maoists had conducted a reccee to kill TDP senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu had caused scare among political circles as naxalites had not harmed any political leader in recent times.
Expressing anxiety over the reports, the TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu wrote a letter to the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy asking that his party MLA be provided additional security. He also asked the Chief Minister to ensure that those who conducted the reccee be nabbed at the earliest.
Meanwhile, Motkupalli charged the TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao of being the man behind the murder plot as he was unable to face him politically. He has alleged that Maoists had conducted the reccee to murder him, only at the behest of KCR. He said it was some former naxals who joined the TRS who had conducted the reccee.
