Srisailam Dam And Some Parts Below Dam Belongs To Seemandhra!
Srisailam Dam belongs to Seemandhra, Srisailam Dam belongs to kurnool, Srisailam left bank and right bank belongs to seemandhra, Srisailam reservoir belongs to Seemandhra, Srisailam power project belongs to Seemandhra
The main arguments put forth by CM Kiran and other integrationists these days is that AP bifurcation will create a problem in terms of Srisailam Dam wherein the left bank will be with Telangana and right bank will be with Seemandhra.
But there seems to be some sensational information coming out regarding this critical reservoir on Krishna River which is being seen as good news for the people of Seemandhra. Sources say that the Kurnool district revenue authorities have sent a report to AP government.
According to this both left and right banks of the dam are part of Seemandhra. It is mentioned that region which is being considered Mahabubnagar now is actually part of Kurnool district. The report says Egalapenta and Domalapenta regions of left bank are part of Nandikotkur (Kurnool District) reserve forest.
This was reportedly de-notified so that close to 1460 acres of forest land could be transferred for submergence in the waters. Subsequently just for administrative clarity it was considered to be part of Telangana but a detailed map is reportedly being circulated which clearly shows the entire Srisailam being part of Seemandhra!
