Tollywood comedian, producer and director AVS (Amanchi Venkata Subrahmanyam) has passed away, His age is 56. He has been suffering from liver ailment. He was admitted in hospital and was getting treatment, finally his condition became critical and doctors told family members to take him to home. He left his last breath in his home at manikonda. Earlier, when AVS faced the same situation, his daughter saved him by giving part of her liver.
AVS original name is Amanchi Venkata Subrahmanyam. He was born in 1957 January, 2nd atTenali. He was introduced to the film industry by director Bapu through his film Mister Pellam in the year 1993. For this film he bagged many awards including Nandi Award by Government of Andhra Pradesh. From then till now he acted nearly 500 films in the Past 19 years as comedian, villain and character artiste.
AVS produced two films- ‘Uncle ‘and ‘Ori Ni Prema Bangaaram Kanu’. He directed 4 films Super Heroes, Ori Ni Prema Bangaaram Kaanu, Room Mates and Kothimooka. He worked as General Secretary to the Movie Artistes Association for 3 terms unanimously.
